The Cache La Poudre River is Colorado's first and only designated National Wild and Scenic River. Poudre Canyon, home to its namesake river, boasts some of the best scenery and rafting in Colorado. The river offers a wide variety of rafting trips for beginners and experienced rafters alike. The river provides whitewater raft trips for families as well as more challenging Class IV trips for adventure seekers and experienced rafters.

Conveniently located near the City of Fort Collins, the Cache La Poudre is the closest river rafting to the town of Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Easily accessed via I-25, the Cache la Poudre is only an hour's drive from Metro Denver and 45 minutes from Boulder.

Nearby highlights include New Belgium Brewing, Anheuser-Busch's Budweiser Brewing and 12 Fort Collins' micorbreweries. Almost all give tours and Budwiser houses their famous Clydesdales parts of the year in Fort Collins. Additionally, the river and its corridor are famous for fly-fishing, hiking and mountain biking.
