|Trip name:||North Platte River - Overnight Adventure|
|River:||North Platte River|
|Section:||Northgate Canyon to Pickaroon|
|Difficulty:||Class III & IV|
|Description:||The whitewater rafting overnight journey also begins at Routt Access. After negotiating the rapids of Northgate Canyon, you end the day at a riverside camp. The rapids on day two of the trip are milder, but fun. Often we are able to paddle to a spot where we can view several eagles' nests, and the hiking and photography on day two is excellent. Lunch and dinner are provided on the first day of your adventure. On the second day, breakfast and lunch are provided. The end of the trip is usually reached by mid-afternoon and the shuttle returns you to your car by about 5:00 p.m.
The minimum age for rafters on this adventure is 13 years.
